Adam is a 10th Planet Purple Belt under Frank Barca (10th Planet Black Belt, 10th Planet Melbourne) and has trained exclusively in the 10th Planet System.  He has trained with some of the most renowned Jiu Jitsu practitioners across the globe including Dean Lister, .  A regular competitor he has won a number of state, National and Pan Pacific championships.

American-born, Chris Foster grew up with the privilege of being exposed to wrestling from before he could walk. He trained extensively until he moved out to Australia where he began training in Aki Kenpo Ju Jutsu

He received his black belt in Aki Kenpo Ju-Jutsu under Mr McCarthy after personally training with him for several years.

Devon started Jiu Jitsu under Coach Chris Foster in 2014 at FightCross MMA.  Upon Adam's return to Brisbane Chris brought Adam in to take over the Jiu Jitsu classes and this ignited Devon's passion for the 10th Planet system.

Devon has trained under Coach Adam since the opening of The Grappling Club and is regular competitor on the local competition circuit.  
 

 

Rhys Mathews

Rhys first met Coach Chris and Coach Adam back in 2005 at East West Fighting Arts.  This was the start of Rhys' passion for the Grappling Arts.  Rhys continued to train under coach Chris until 2009 when East West was closed down.  Rhys joined The Grappling Club in late 2015 and has been training under Coach Adam since then.  Rhys is a regular competitor recently winning Gold at Byron Bay Open and Grappling Industries Brisbane.
